Our Ethics

We are cat lovers.  Through the past 5 decades, cats have been part of our family along with horses and dogs.  We bred our first litter in 1985, and since then have been privileged to bring a small number of animals in to the world, all born at our home in rural North Lincolnshire.   

It is important for us to ensure that we breed healthy, happy kittens and that their parents are given the best possible care.  We do not operate on a large scale, as this would be detrimental to the well being of the animals whose lives are entrusted to us.  Instead, we breed a few litters, each mating selected from healthy, happy cats whose genetic line is screened for congenital diseases.

Kate has a wealth of experience with animals, a career spanning over 40 years ranging from working as a vet’s assistant  to her current career lecturing in animal care.

We strive to ensure that our kittens go to stable homes. Sometimes an individual’s circumstances change, such as illness or a requirement to move home. We therefore offer you peace of mind, with a lifetime guarantee of security to all our cats.  If for whatever reason, you find yourself unable to care for your cat, we will always endeavour to give your companion a good home.  This will either mean rehoming (following a home check) or… well, just living with us as another member of our family!
